Your HLPOA Board members are anxious to put on events you appreciate and hope to bring back or create new events including; Food Truck Days/Nights, Blood Drives, Trunk or Treat, Car Shows, and more. Our calendar is meant to provide a quick and easy overview of social events, seasonal celebrations and important neighborhood improvement initiatives. If we missed something, please let us know. If you have suggestions or wish to get involved in developing community events, we'd love to hear from you.

Below you'll find some of the events being planned for this year. You also find some events we're proposing for the community – but we could use your input. If you see an event you'd like to help with, a survey or question about proposed events, or have an event you'd like us to consider, please let us know.
LUAU, ANYONE?
Nothing like a little a party to get in the swing of Summer. Plans are to hold the Luau in early June. We're sure looking forward to sippin' Tiki Cocktails by the pool. How about you?The Luau is a BYOB event so bring your favorite drink - be it a Mai Tai, Blue Hawaiian or just a cold beer - but please NO GLASS!! We'll be working on putting together a potluck as well so all you cooks out there, impress us with your island dishes!
YARD SALE
The people have spoken! A majority of folks requested that the Community Yard Sale will be held Saturday, May 18th from 9am-3pm. Posts will be made to a few select neighborhood websites like NextDoor, CraigsList and Facebook to attract buyers. We hope that those selling do well and those buying find some terrific deals!

4TH OF JULY
The Fourth of July here in Heritage Lakes has become our signature event. Every year our neighbors gather together to celebrate our Nation's independence playing games, eating tasty food, enjoying the company of friends and family and it all ends with a spectacular fireworks show. Help us make this year's be the best yet.
XMAS PARADE
Who doesn't love a parade? When Christmas comes our neighborhood loves to circle their wagons, or golf carts, and do a lap around the haven we call Heritage Lakes. We even get the Mauldin Fire Department in the mix as they lead the parade with sirens and lights while those that don't ride watch from their front porches!
