Heritage Lakes has always been more than just a neighborhood—it’s a place where childhood memories are made.

Easter egg hunts filled with laughter. Movies on the Lawn under the stars. Summer pool parties and BBQ’s. Halloween costumed kids braving our spooky woods searching for sweet treats. Christmas events that bring neighbors together. These traditions help define what it means to grow up in Heritage Lakes—and they matter.
What many residents may not realize is that the planning, organizing, and hands-on work behind nearly every one of these events is being done by our Board members—most of whom are seniors or whose children are grown and moved. They continue to step up year after year out of love for this community, even though these events are designed primarily for our younger families and children.

This is our heartfelt plea to the families, couples, and parents with younger children in Heritage Lakes: we need your help.
Your ideas, your energy, and your involvement can make an enormous difference. Ideally, two, three or more households could team up, sharing responsibilities and splitting the workload so no one feels overwhelmed. Planning doesn’t have to be complicated—and you wouldn’t be doing it alone. Support, guidance, and encouragement are already here.
