Welcome to Heritage Lakes – a residential community located in Simpsonville within Greenville County in Upstate South Carolina. Established in the late 1970's, there are 212 residences within Heritage Lakes ranging from 1,500 to 3,000+ square feet on lots ranging in size from roughly one-half to full acre parcels.

Heritage Lakes is anchored by three lakes, a clubhouse, competition swimming pool, tennis, pickleball and volleyball courts plus a kid's play area. Our community also boasts an expansive lakeside greenbelt with walking trails and a nature trail through our woods.

Heritage Lakes takes great pride in being an active community with many family orientated activities and events. We are part of the Swim Association Invitational League (SAIL) – one of the largest recreational swim leagues in the Southeast. SAIL includes more than 30 neighborhood swim teams and over 4,000 swimmers. Our team, the Blue Wave, has had tremendous success in competition with back-to-back Founders Cup Championships in the SAIL Gold Division for 2022 and 2023.

The community's annual Fourth of July celebration and fireworks spectacular never fails to thrill and engage our residents. With several other community events taking place each year – like our Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas Parade – you can see why Heritage Lakes is a truly unique development with lasting beauty.

The people have spoken! While we didn't have a huge response we did get 9 residents who took the time to complete the survey. Four chose the 18th, three chose the 11th with one vote each for the 4th and 24th. Majority rules that the Community Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, May 18th from 9:00am to 3:00pm. There will be posts to a few select neighborhood websites like NextDoor, CraigsList and Facebook to attract buyers. Good luck with your sales!

Charis Burger on the Social Committee remembers a time where Luau's were a big part of Summer social activities... and she'd love to bring them back. So would we. Nothing like a little a neighborhood party to get in the swing of Summer. Tentative plans are to hold the Luau in early June. We're sure looking forward to sippin' Tiki Cocktails by the pool. How about you? Email us with a simple YES or NO as your message. If we get enough interest, the party's a go!!

July 4th, All Day!

What a great show! What a day! That's what we hear from the folks who attend our 4th of July events. It takes a lot of people to put it all together and the cost of putting it on rises every year. Are you willing to help us put on the show? From raising funds to planning activities, we'd really love your help.

Our recently renovated clubhouse amenities include a kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, couch and sitting area, loft space, outdoor patio, grill, and amazing views of Lake Steeplechase.

The paved parking lot can accomodate about 30 cars with additional parking on grassy areas if weather permits. Adjacent to the clubhouse is our pool, the tennis and pickleball courts, and kid's play areas making for a great party or event facility.

The Heritage Lakes Clubhouse is available for use for private events. You need not be a resident or associate member to rent the facility. Special reduced rates apply for residents and associate members. $50 for residents. $175 for associate members. Clubhouse rental fee for the general public is $300. A $65 cleaning fee is applied to all rentals.
